CMMS – Forest Hill is more than just a daycare & preschool. Unlike traditional daycares, all our classrooms include quality Montessori materials and an engaging, hands-on learning environment set up to foster each student’s development to their full potential. In addition to daily classroom instruction, students receive enrichment in STEM, Spanish, Music, Yoga, Art, Computer Science, and Library. Our Montessori School in Forest Hill focuses on the development of the whole child. Therefore, we offer Montessori Infant care, preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade Elementary programs that balance the social/emotional, cognitive, physical, and academic development of children. Ms. Amy Barben
Administrator
Amy Barben has been a part of CMMS Forest Hill since 2019, bringing with her 28 years of educational experience. She holds 90-hour and 45-hour certifications along with her Preschool Director’s certification. With a degree in Elementary Education, Amy is deeply passionate about understanding how a child’s mind works. Her interest in early education stems from her love of encouraging curiosity, fostering language development, and engaging young minds. The strategic set-up of the Montessori classroom drew Amy to the field as she recognized how the hands-on classroom environment fosters independence and problem-solving which gives children the opportunity to develop these skills in a safe, nurturing setting.
